When Tyler catches a rebound he looks like he doesn’t know what to do with the ball. And more often than not, he misses badly when he attempts to shoot.

Comment on Taking a Closer Look: Amir Johnson by nikita Wed, 04 Dec 2013 20:30:00 +0000 I’d like to hear your thoughts on the game between the Raps and Golden State last night. I love Hansbrough but the guy should not be starting or be on court when in tight 4th quarter games.

Someone should be fired for that tragedy last night. And I’m talking about the guy with the suit.

Comment on Taking a Closer Look: Amir Johnson by Tinman Sun, 01 Dec 2013 01:34:00 +0000 ” Despite all this, a lot of fans still seem to think the Raptors would be better off with him coming off the bench and with a bigger offensive threat as the starting power forward.”
If this was to be the point of his article, I really don’t get it. Who’s asking him to come off the bench? I read a lot, have a lot of bball friends? Nobody who’s opinions I care about wants him off the bench.
And by the way, who is our more bigger offensive threat at PF?
Seems to be your schtick – talking down to fans. And needlessly.
None of your figures are new, we’ve known for years that Amir is a STAT Geeks dream. Mr Hustle. Throw in the fact that he seems like a real likeable guy and seems to appreciate his responsibility to the team and its fans.
Untradeable ? Well we lost a pretty likeable Spanish PG last year, a promising big in Ed Davis. And hey, it took a big haul, but someone even pried Il Mago from us.

Comment on 2013 NBA Draft Report Card by Tim W. Mon, 08 Jul 2013 04:20:00 +0000 Crap, you’re right. I can’t believe I missed that. Especially since they bypassed several better players to draft Zeller.

Comment on Can The Raptors Contend Without Tanking? by Gvtdred Wed, 12 Jun 2013 19:40:00 +0000 Very good article…not sure I agree with what you said about the Pacers and Grizz not being or even looking like they will be contenders though. The Pacers will most definitely be contenders for years to come and i think they proved that in the last series against the Heat. They have a very young solid team with role players that are TURNING INTO star/elite players in the league. I think its a smart move for the raps to take a page out of their book. Raps need to focus on the players they have mastering their role on the court…this is just my opinion but i find half the time everybody on the court is trying to show and prove that they should be the leader of the team and try to take over the game. Raps need to play team ball like the Pacers do, like the Grizz do…like the Warriors do.

Comment on Lessons Learned from the Playoffs (Conference Finals) by Stephen Waugh Fri, 07 Jun 2013 14:20:00 +0000 Don’t you mean J.R. Smith instead of Josh Smith?
